ABOUT BEE HACKS

Bee Hacks began with a mindset of encouraging new hackers to build unique projects regardless of the tech or field. The only focus was to create something meaningful and enjoy the process of building, while also solving the shared struggles of our surroundings. ​For this season, we are virtual and will be hosting a 36 Hours Virtual Hackathon; where we are aiming to promote hackers and help them nurture their new ideas and prototypes in various domains. Requirements

FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND.

- This is a team hackathon. Hackers must form a team of 2 - 4 members.

- It is mandatory for every member of a team to be registered on Devpost to submit the project.

- Your project must be built on the weekend of the hackathon [23th - 25th Nov 2023].

- Your project submission must be completed within the submission period.

- Your code must be available in a public repository.

- Do not submit projects from past hackathons or projects built before the hackathon. This will void the hackathon guidelines and disqualify your submission.

- Cross-submissions from hackathons happening on the same weekend are not allowed!

Judging Criteria

  • Originality
    Has this project been done before at hackathons in the past? How creative is the project in solving the problem at hand?
  • Completion
    Does the hack work? Did the team achieve everything they wanted?
  • Design
    Did the team put thought into the user experience? How well-designed is the interface?
  • Innovation
    Does the project attempt to solve a previously unsolved problem?
  • Presentation
    How well did the team clearly, effectively, and positively present the idea? Considerations: Storytelling, demos, screenshots, prototypes, and the thought process.
